PARVEEN BABI - THE MYSTERIOUS NAIKA

We all grew up dancing to songs like ''jawani janeman hasina dilruba'' ...but none of us have ever thought that the cheerful actress dancing in the video died alone in misery and pain. Let us give a few minutes to know how this actress has survived in Bollywood.

She has so many allegations in her name....but no one could think that Bollywood destroyed her stardom. She is pictured as a drug addict and mentally disturbed person.

But very few tried to know what was in her mind and who PARVEEN BABI IS?

So, let's begin by exploring her family and collecting facts about how she entered Bollywood as a game changer.

On April 4, 1949, in Junagadh, Saurashtra (now in Gujarat), Nawabs of Junagadh gave birth to a girl with eye-catching beauty who later became famous for her glamourous looks and acting in Bollywood.

Nowadays it's pervasive to observe the perspective of gender equality. But Parveen was the first to play characters of women living with independent thoughts, who are not afraid of societal norms. She played strong opposite characters with big screen actors like Amitabh Bachan.

Babi first received recognition as Neela in the drama film Majboor (1974). She had her breakthrough starring as a prostitute, Anita, in the action crime - drama film Deewaar (1975), which attained a cult following, and helped establish her as a leading lady.

Parveen was one of the first actresses in Bollywood who brought up a revolution in dressing style. She picked up a pastel color pallet, no makeup looks, and brought Western fashion onto the game.

|She reached the top and shone like stars.... but the light of her reel life couldn't withstand her in her real life.

Parveen Babi was not that lucky in love...she was shattered because she didn't find a stable love life.

With the reel life...Amitabh Bachan also shared feelings with Babi in the parallel reality. Babi's relationships with Kabir Bedi, and Danny, also came out in public. At last ..she shared a friendly relationship with Mahesh Bhatt who was one of the upcoming directors of the era.

But Babi was always left alone. One day suddenly Parveen Babi left Bollywood and went abroad.

The reason for this was still not clear. But later on in her interviews, Babi clearly mentioned that she got fed up with certain practices in Bollywood and so she wanted a break from it.

After years Babi came back to India, she started interior designing and was happy in her life. She her interviews Babi stated many allegations on big screen actors like Amitabh Bachan, Director Mahesh Bhatt and many more. She even mentioned that they planned to kill her. However, this can't be proved due to lack of evidence.

She linked back to Bollywood when in the Mumbai TADA court where she had claimed she would supply proof of actor Sanjay Dutt's involvement in the 1993 Mumbai bomb blasts case.

Hower ever law court denied Babi's plea due to lack of evidence.

On 20th January, 2005, Parveen died alone in pain in her Bandra flat. During her last times she lived alone and one of her legs had gangrene. She even had diabetes.

Her neighbors found out that Babi didn't picked up the dairy from her door and reported police about this and later they find out that Babi died due to multiple organ failure.

| Mahesh Bhatt pictured Babi to be mentally ill and unfit for the society.....

Mahesh Bhatt before and after Parveen Babi's death gave several interviews in which he stated that Babi was mentally unfit and mentally ill. Babi declined this statement several times. But after her death...Mahesh continued to frame that Parveen Babi had schizophrenia.

However, no one have any evidence or any medical report to state that Parveen had any mental disorder.

Mahesh Bhatt framed the whole scenario that Babi was deprived from the Bollywood due to her mental illness and even stated that her mental illness prove out due to multiple breakups.

Mahesh Bhatt also claimed to picturize Babi's life in a movie called ''arth''. He also claimed that Babi was a drug and alcohol addict, but medical reports insisted that Parveen Babi was only a smoker, she didn't consume any drugs.

In my opinion, Parveen Babi had a strong personality that she could withstand every possible emotion.
