Abstract:

This study is an attempt to present the various methods using chemical containing substances such as liquid based, gel based, cream based, and natural oils for erasing of pen ink from paper. As we all know that nowadays tampering of documents seems to be very high in crimes due to possession of estates, wills, deeds etc. Although there are many instruments for examination of chemical erasures nevertheless there are so many areas where lots of people are not aware of such this that is why the peoples gets trapped by the culprits, keeping that in mind for activeness and awareness we can examine the documents by ourselves.

Documents tampered using household products can be easily identified without any instruments which are present in laboratory and resulting in accuracy.
